Alana Ruosch
Founder & 500 RYT
I was introduced to yoga the summer of 2000 and fell in love with it right away. In 2015 I had my first spine surgery due to a car accident and Yoga helped me immensely. After my second spinal surgery in December of 2021, I became a different person, and hot yoga helped me heal physically, mentally, and emotionally. After completing my 200-hour RYT, I decided to immediately enroll for my 300-hour certification with Yogi Institiute and completed it shortly after. For me yoga has become a lifestyle, and my vision is to share it with others and all of its benefits to pay it forward.

Yoga has been a journey of healing and self-discovery for me and most importantly, it is medicine for my mental health.
I struggled the last couple of years with my own mental health- my anxiety was the worst it had ever been, and depression became a constant, every day, struggle. When I could make it to my mat, I felt so much better, I felt whole, I felt alive, I felt good!
Yoga wasn’t just a workout anymore it was a lifeline for me and a tool I used to help with my mental health. I prioritized my time on my mat and really focused on my practice and began to feel the benefits and see the change- I took back control of my life!
I knew I had to share this with others, so I made it my mission to get my 200 YTT and start this journey of teaching.
My goal and vision are to help as many people as possible through Yoga and be an advocate for self-love and self-care.
This Yoga community is a beautiful one, I am excited to be a part of the Y4AK Team and honored to have the opportunity to share this practice with you all- I can’t wait to see you on your mat!

My husband and I moved to Granbury in September 2021 from East Dallas. I am happy to call Granbury my new home, where I had the opportunity to complete my 200 Hour YTT March 2022.
I enjoy teaching all classes, but my favorites are Vinyasa Flow and Slow Flow - with over 150 teaching hours, in studio and private lessons.
My yoga journey began in February 2014 at a studio in Dallas, where I had my first practice. Yoga found me during a challenging time in my life, struggling with my own body image and weight. From the first day I stepped on my mat, I was hooked, and I felt like my mat was my safe place. In the beginning, I couldn't physically do many of the basic postures. I never felt any judgment from any of the instructors, they were always so kind and would give modifications when I needed them. As I continued with my practice, it became easier, and I felt so good about myself. I soon realized that yoga was not only helping me physically, but also mentally and emotionally. It taught me how to slow down, live in the present moment and to be kind to myself. Through my weight loss journey, I realized I was my own worst critic, and I would say harsh words to myself. Yoga opened up my eyes and my heart, to MYSELF, to have more kind and gentle thoughts. I completed my yoga teacher training to help others through their journey and to be their support. I want to create a safe space for everyone and open an opportunity to connect to ourselves on a deeper level and lead us to a place of self-discovery. I hope to see you on your mat soon!

Hello! And welcome to Y4AK. My name is Tanya and I have lived in Glen Rose for 10 years. Truth be told…words to describe yourself are so hard to come by so I’ll start with the basics. I am a full-time mom, Uber driver and cheerleader to two wonderfully-active kids. They keep me very busy and as I try to fit in volunteering at their schools and being a flight attendant. I fell in love with hot yoga many years ago when I was first introduced to Bikram yoga. Over the years, my yoga has changed from a “being fit” journey to a healing journey. I believe that yoga finds those little places inside you physically or mentally that need healing and it starts working there. Places or injuries that you may not even know exist. Through my journey, I completed my Yoga Teacher Training in April 2022 with Jill Enticknap at Yogi Institute. I am so excited to be part of the Y4AK team and help bring my love of yoga to my Glen Rose community. I hope to see you on your mat very soon.

My yoga journey began in 2006 when a good friend invited me to a hot yoga class. I was hooked and immediately signed up for a membership. Although my practice has ebbed and flowed with the changing seasons in my life, I always return to my mat. In 2002, I was able to fulfill my goal of completing yoga teacher training and am excited to be part of Y4AK. My goal is to create an inviting and nurturing space for ALL students to practice yoga for health, wellness and balance.

With a background as a Registered Nurse, my journey into holistic wellness began as I sought balance after experiencing burnout in the demanding world of western medicine. Since 2017, I’ve embraced the transformative teachings of eastern wisdom and indigenous traditions, culminating in my yoga teacher training in 2022. Over the past two years, I’ve expanded my practice to include healing with horses, offering unique equine yoga classes that deepen the connection between body, mind, and spirit.
My gentle approach integrates a variety of healing practices, including Ayurveda, plant medicine, meditation, and breathwork. I invite you to join me on the mat, where we will cultivate a deep awareness of your body’s intelligence and honor the natural rhythms of life. Expect a nurturing atmosphere filled with lightheartedness, humor, and the occasional challenge to awaken your spirit. Let’s explore the path of mind, body, and soul together!
